The WDR Big Band
featuring Ola Onabule and China Moses
"Songs From The Twenties"

This project celebrated compositions from the 1920's and 1930's and featured two outstanding vocalists.

China Moses and Ola Onabule were the special guests of the world renowned WDR Big Band for two concerts.

The second of the the two concerts was broadcast live by Westdeutscher Rundfunk and streamed world-wide over the internet from the Kolner Philharmonie which was completely sold out for the event on March 5th, 2010 in Cologne, Germany.

Our contribution to this project was to assist Mr. Onabule and Ms. Moses in choosing the material, arrange and to notate all of the music for the big band as well as to conduct the orchestra during the rehearsals, recordings and concerts.
