The Signature Series

This is the first movement of a 3 part suite commissioned by the United States Military Academy at West Point and recorded by the Jazz Knights Big Band.

The first movement begins with a hymn and transitions into a medium-tempo funk groove. It features Alto 1.

This is the second movement of a 3 part suite commissioned by the United States Military Academy at West Point and recorded by the Jazz Knights Big Band.

This movement begins with a clarinet choir and evolves into a solemn bossa-nova which features Piano and Flugelhorn.

This is the third and final movement of a 3 part suite commissioned by the United States Military Academy at West Point and recorded by the Jazz Knights Big Band.

This movement begins with a flash from the brass sections and becomes a medium-up tempo minor swinger that features Trumpet 4 and Tenor 1 as well as the Saxophone Section.

This piece begins with a slow gospel section which sets up a "Tower of Power" inspired funk groove featuring Alto 2, Guitar and Drums.

It was commissioned by the United States Military Academy at West Point and recorded by the Jazz Knights Big Band and by the University of North Texas One O'Clock Big Band.
